Casa sol and casa Luna are both fully restored century old Portuguese farmhouses. The cottages have been renovated in traditional style and each can accommodate up to 5 people and offer : A spacious living room with T.V., stereo and wood burning fire. There is also an open plan fully equipped kitchen forming part of this area. There are two large bedrooms both centrally heated and two comfortable bathrooms also centrally heated with a choice of either shower or bath. There is also a separate utility room with a washing machine that can be used by both cottages. Outside there is a cosy and private covered terrace with outside furniture and BBQ which overlooks the surrounding countryside. Both cottages have been lovingly decorated to make it feel like a real ‘home from home.’ The lovely, sunny and healthy Atlantic climate is a pleasure for everyone. Out of the variety of beaches you can choose from on one side you have Alfambras with the extensive Vale Figueiras beach (the nearest to the cottages), Carrapateira with Amado and Bordeira beaches and the Aljezur side with Arrifana, Monte Clerigo and Amoreira Beach. It is a paradise for those who enjoy the outdoors –whether this be walking, riding, mountain biking, running, swimming, surfing or just chilling out. The local town of Aljezur, only 10 minutes drive away, has most facilities including shops, restaurants, banks and a post office. The southern Algarve is a 20 minutes drive away and offers a wide selection of shopping, leisure and golf facilities. A visit to Portugal’s beautiful capital Lisbon (250 km) or to lovely Seville (270 km) in neighbouring country Spain, is certainly a possibility whilst you are here, but you may find it hard to drag yourself away from this beautiful region.
